Me and Mr Brown had the honour of entertaining the guests at the recent nuptials of Protea cricket captain Graeme Smith and his wife Morgan Deane at the Suikerbosse venue in Cape Town. That's two votes of confidence in the band in less than six months from the SA skipper as the boys played at Smith's 30th birthday celebrations back in January. It was quite an end to the 2010/2011 wedding season as the band entertained a whole host of celebrities ranging from Springbok Schalk Burger, and fellow sportsman Jaques Kallis to television personality Jeannie D. One of the highlights of the evening was an impromptu three song set with AB De Villers on lead vocals!

We strongly recommend booking Me and Mr Brown well in advance!  Looking at our stats, the average lead time for bookings is now over a year in advance so book now to avoid dissapointment! We are already taking bookings for December 2012 and even January 2013.

Me and Mr Brown are the ideal music solution for any party or event. The boys are guaranteed to set the right tone for any function whether it be a wineland wedding, a birthday house party, an end of year office function, a barmitzvah party or even a rugby festival. Me and Mr brown are experienced in a wide range of musical environments and absolutely perfect for any celebration.

The band have just returned from an incredibly succesful gig up in Vic Falls, entertaining the participants of the innaugral Put Foot Rally and Falls locals at the rally's half way check point party. Vic Falls adds itself to Nelspruit and Durban as recent gig destinations.

Appart from weddings, birthday parties and corporates, you can come and watch us play at our regular showcase gigs in Noordhoek, Cape Town. You can find us at Cafe Roux, Noordhoek Farm Village (021 789 2538) at our main showcase Sunday afternoon slot from 2.30 until....well, until we get too tired!  On Thursdays, you can find us warming up the Toad in the Village, Bob Skinstad's awesome pub/restaurant venue, also in the Noordhoek Farm Village- we play from 7.30pm till late (bookings 021 789 2973)....come party with Me and Mr Brown.

Every now and then, either Me or Mr Brown find ourselves unable to perform on certain dates due to prior bookings. Into the breach steps in Mr Bill "Billy' Magee. Billy is great on guitar and bass and is the perfect replacement to gig on any occasion. Very often found sipping a bottle or two of Amstel in Noordhoek, Billy is particular strong when it comes to the older hits from the days of yore but he's also more than comfortable playing the Killers and Kings of Leon as he is The Beatles back catalogue.
